About
“You didn't come here to make the choice. You already made it. You’re here to try to understand why you made it.” - The Matrix Reloaded
Senior at Brown, double concentrating in Behavioral Decision Sciences and International & Public Affairs, with a focus on human-AI interaction and technology governance.
Decisions are portals. Each time we turn to a machine for guidance, we renegotiate the contract between our own discernment and its influence. My research follows the relationships we form with these technologies: when we take their advice, when we assign them blame, and how much of ourselves we let them predict. I’ve studied digital nudges and co-authored papers on robotics and causal reasoning.
I’m drawn to improbable ideas, the ones that seem irrational until someone makes them work. Startups ask people to place their trust in something that barely exists. It's decision sciences out of the lab, into reality.
That curiosity runs through my work in investing, community building, and storytelling. I’m always asking how products become part of people’s lives, how preferences become habits, and how much of what we want comes from one another. Understanding those patterns shapes what I want to build and back.
